I am so excited with the way that all of these elements came together for Amanda and Nick's wedding on March 22, 2014. We planned their wedding for 364 days - we met for the first time literally one day less than a year, so we got to know each other pretty well in that time. I worked with the bride Amanda and her mom Sheri and we had such a great time together. Nick, the groom, was deployed for part of our planning time and then was relocated to the Northeast, so I was so excited when I finally got to meet him at rehearsal the night before the wedding. Amanda wanted to have a country vintage shabby chic theme - combining so many different pieces, from vintage birdcages and burlap, to lace, pinks, and ivories, with navy as an accent. Overall - I love the way it all turned out.
And this photo to the left? It is seriously one of the cutest "Just Married" photos I have ever gotten to take. Below are some of the photos I took to capture some of the details of the day - I seriously can not wait to see Alley Kat Photography's photos, as I can only imagine how incredible they are going to be!
The ceremony took place at Old Christ Church - and every single time I have a wedding at this little white church, every time I fall in love with it a little more. I love the history associated with it, and it is definitely one of my favorite places for a wedding ceremony in Pensacola.
Below are a few of my favorite detail shots from the day - I made the handlettered sign shown on the top left, and the little guy on the right? Seriously one of the nicest, kindest, and most handsome junior groomsmen I have ever gotten to spend time with. (and the fact he actually smiled for my photo? too sweet!) The amazing florals were provided by Fiore, and Hemstitch Vintage Rentals provided the majority of the amazing vintage pieces you see throughout. Enjoy this little sneak peek!
This candy, cupcake, and cake dessert bar was seriously beautiful. It smelled so delectable all night long and was a huge hit with the guests! And, how amazing is this lace backdrop from Hemstitch Vintage Rentals??Seriously. Happiest Faces Ever. And look. at. that. dress. Simply beautiful!!!
Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Tyson, I am so excited for your married life to begin!
