Brooklyn's Art Party Invitation { Pint Sized Party }

art party invitation - grace and serendipity

I was so excited when a friend of mine asked me to design these for her daughter's upcoming birthday party in the next few weeks.  When she told me that she was having an Art Party, I couldn't resist designing them around a paint palette.  Who says that invitations, especially for kid's parties, need to be square anyways?

One of my favorite things about these is that they are just fun!  Incorporating the hearts adds a bit of a girly touch, but also the particular fonts (especially on her name) reminded me of the writing I used to do as a kid.  Just a bit out of the ordinary, but more than anything, fun!  Not only the color and the design great, but the thickness of the paper is phenomenal - thicker than most printed invitations I've done in the past.  It is incredibly durable and non-bendy cardstock, almost as thick as chipboard.  The photo below is only fifteen of the invitations - so it is a great thick paper to use.

These invitations are actually each a five step process, after designed, to complete.   So yes they were a bit time consuming, but they turned out absolutely wonderfully!

And of course, the back had to have a fun design as well!
