Happy Thursday, loves! I am so excited to share that the Romeo and Juliet editorial shoot that I was a part of creating recently with an amazing group of wedding vendors is featured today on Green Wedding Shoes!
This was such an amazing shoot to be a part of, and Tiffany did an absolutely incredible job of coordinating it all. The moment that she told me she wanted to create a editorial shoot where Romeo and Juliet actually receive their happily ever after, I was in. There were so many favorite photos, I had a really hard time narrowing it down to my favorites. Incorporating a rich red and gold color palette and amazing vintage pieces, this was by far an amazing beginning to the year. Every single detail was well thought out and every piece was stunning. The florals were absolutely beautiful, and the cake? My goodness gracious. It is breathtaking.
I mean seriously. Seeing everything in one place and all of the different details brought together has me speechless.
I loved creating a variety of paper pieces to coordinate with the theme. Every piece had hand deckled edging, and hand applied gold leafing. The gold leaf liner is my favorite accent, along with the lettering we used. I also created a collection of love letters that Romeo wrote to his Juliet, keeping with the theme. I love the mix of the soft ivory and dark gray with the bold red and romantic gold. The wax seal and vellum that completed the invitation suite is one of my favorite details, and the placecards? Le sigh. I think it's safe to say I am in love with pretty much every single piece in the entire collection.
