Hi loves! Today I am thrilled to share details from this beautiful bohemian beach inspired wedding with you. You may recognize Sami and Drew from the previous post on their alternative guestbook Love Notes Wall that they incorporated into their wedding, but today I am sharing a bit more about their wedding, including their color palette as it is still such a beautiful combination together for so many beach weddings, especially here in Pensacola at Margaritaville and Landshark Landing! For Sami and Drew, I was both their wedding planner and designed all of the paper details, and we worked amazing as a team together. Our meetings were always filled with laughter and I think that so much of it has to do with the love that they have for each other, that they knew that at the end of the day, the most important part was that they got to marry each other and vow to spend the rest of their lives together. Because truly, that is all that matters.
Hey everyone, happy Monday! I had such an amazing weekend participating at the Bridal Show at the Pensacola Bay Center. The day before, I stopped by Target to pick up a copy of Weddingstar Magazine because a styled shoot that I was a part of last spring was published in it!! To say that I was excited was an understatement. There is something about seeing your work in print form that is absolutely exhilarating. They are sold at Target, Walgreens, and Barnes and Noble if you would like to pick up a copy of the newest edition!
One thing that I plan to do more of this year is share color palettes from real weddings and current designs I am working on for bespoke collections, so that it can help you to plan your wedding as well! The majority of palettes that I work with are not traditional - they have unique color combinations or elements that aren't expected, so I am really excited about this addition to the blog.
Hey loves, happy Thursday! I am so excited to share this alternative guestbook idea with you today for those of you who are planning a wedding, or an engagement, or even a birthday or anniversary celebration! This past June, the beautiful and oh-so in love Sami and Drew said their I Do's here on the beautiful beaches of Pensacola. They were such a fun couple to work with, especially when it came to their paper beauties. Sami gave me complete creative control to think outside of the box when it came to their wedding, and this Love Notes Wall may just be the most favorite guestbook alternative idea I've ever gotten to create.
Happy Thursday, loves! I am so excited to share that the Romeo and Juliet editorial shoot that I was a part of creating recently with an amazing group of wedding vendors is featured today on Green Wedding Shoes!
This is one of the prettiest suites I have ever gotten to create, and I loved designing it for Kristie and Eric's wedding day. A gorgeous blush pink, silver glitter accents, and a shimmery taupe envelope completed the pocket invitation suite, and I love the way that it all came together when completed. A tremendous thank you to Ashley Victoria for photographing these beauties for me to share with you!
Kristie and I started working on her invitations from an initial design palette of pink and silver, and everything included a shimmery touch. The envelopes and liners both have a slightly pearlized finish, and with the pocket invitation having shimmer on it as well, it looked beautiful when all put together.
Oh my goodness, I am so excited to be sharing a few more details on this with you today! One of the things that will be changing for this blog this year is showing more of my current works in progress through inspiration boards with you, and this one below is one I'm currently designing paper details for. I'm already swooning! I am working with Shannon of Great Southern Weddings for her Bridal Workshop to design some paper details for a small group of brides on January 30th of this year. I don't want to give away too much yet, but if you are a local bride, this is not something you want to miss! Fiore of Pensacola and Aislinn Kate Photography will also be sharing floral and photography planning details, and Shannon has curated such an amazing event, so if you're engaged and interested, head to the link above for more information!
Oh my goodness. I am SO excited to finally be able to share these peach, navy, and mint wedding invitations with you today! I feel like this design was 100% spot-on for Jessi and Joseph's wedding this past Saturday at 511 Palafox from the moment we first started working on it. For their wedding, I provided both planning services and also designed all of their wedding day paper. You will have to wait until the images from Cook Images are ready to show details of their wedding day and all of the pieces that were created, but this is a small sneak peek of the main designs that we created together: their wedding invitations, programs, and one of my favorite gold foil details, their reserved signs.
I am so glad the gorgesousness that was Mary and Ricky's wedding is beginning to grace this blog! You first read about them a few months ago in their love story post. These two were the sweetest towards each other throughout the entire time planning their wedding, and their wedding day was absolutely beautiful. It was filled with so many elegant and rich colors, and Mary's one of a kind wedding dress, designed and sewn completely by Ruthy was absolutely stunning. Mary and I worked together for a bit more than a year to bring her wedding idea to life, and it turned out absolutely stunning.
