Hello, inspiration! This styled shoot was featured recently on Every Last Detail and I am so excited to share the images of these beauties with you here as well .... the creativity by all involved is absolutely awe-inspiring, and there were so many beautiful details weaved into every piece. I tried hard to choose a favorite, but between the protea flowers or the stunning gown, the carefully hand-deckled edging included on the invitation or the delicate details incorporated into the cake design, I love every single detail.
Hey everyone, happy Monday! I had such an amazing weekend participating at the Bridal Show at the Pensacola Bay Center. The day before, I stopped by Target to pick up a copy of Weddingstar Magazine because a styled shoot that I was a part of last spring was published in it!! To say that I was excited was an understatement. There is something about seeing your work in print form that is absolutely exhilarating. They are sold at Target, Walgreens, and Barnes and Noble if you would like to pick up a copy of the newest edition!
One thing that I plan to do more of this year is share color palettes from real weddings and current designs I am working on for bespoke collections, so that it can help you to plan your wedding as well! The majority of palettes that I work with are not traditional - they have unique color combinations or elements that aren't expected, so I am really excited about this addition to the blog.
Happy Thursday, loves! I am so excited to share that the Romeo and Juliet editorial shoot that I was a part of creating recently with an amazing group of wedding vendors is featured today on Green Wedding Shoes!
Isn't this bouquet just simply breathtaking?! A few months ago, my friend Micah of Micah Nelson Photography contacted me to create an invitation suite for a creative styled shoot that she was planning on doing, which was a Queen of Hearts inspirational shoot.
I am in love with the colors that she used - dusty blues, deep reds, with splashes of reds and golds made it such a beautiful and different combination! The gold beaded dress that is featured is absolutely stunning as well. From the unique furniture to the creative elements that were brought in to create the unique look, this is one that you definitely should take a look at today!
I am so excited to be sharing this styled shoot with you today! I am so blessed to have amazing vendors who understand my creative mind, and I love so many different pieces about this shoot that my heart soared when it was featured on Style Me Pretty. So many different things come together for a styled shoot - usually you have one element that spurs it, and as your idea develops, it grows and changes and adapts. For me, this one item was a rose gold sequin table runner. One of my brides used a rose gold sequin linen for her wedding in March, and the minute that I saw it and felt it in my hands, I was hooked.
I am so excited to share this with you today! Back in the early spring, I was contacted by Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine that is based in Australia. They were doing a piece on either choosing to have social media included in your day, or if you would choose to have an unplugged wedding instead. In my Etsy shop, I have quite a few wedding signs, but with as many as there are available, I felt incredibly excited when I had the opportunity to be published overseas.
A few months ago, I was contacted by Valerie of Fleur de Lis Event Planning to do a styled shoot with her and provide all of the paper goods. I designed all of the signs, created a pennant banner, and hand-lettered a cootie catcher, where it said "Will You Marry Me"? along with a few other details! It was featured today on FabYouBliss, which is kind of perfect considering that it was the first day of school for those of us here! Below are a few of my favorite images captured by The Veil Wedding Photography!
Hooray! You may remember last fall, seeing a wedding I got to plan with beautiful and gothic elements combined into one. Today, it was featured on Offbeat Bride! Below are a few of the photos that Aislinn Kate Photography captured from Ashley and Justin's beautiful wedding day ... incorporating dramatically red flowers, black linens, and her horse walking her down the aisle, it was a day to remember for all!
