your wedding blooms are once-in-a-lifetime flowers.
they deserve to be cared for well.

Wedding bouquet preservation at Grace and Serendipity is not a quick-to-complete product, it's an intentionally delicate process.

A careful, unhurried, petal-by-petal process that has been developed and refined over years of practice with thousands of different flowers to produce botanical art that lasts a lifetime.

to note …

although I work with your flowers after your wedding day, beginning the preservation process begins before your wedding day, not after. to ensure your date is available and your flowers are received at peak freshness, please reach out as early as you know you want to learn more about having your flowers preserved …. ideally months before your wedding day.

what to expect // step by step

from a fresh bouquet to a priceless piece of art …

one // inquire by completing the form below

Tell me about your wedding date, your flowers, and what you're hoping to create. I'll reach out within 48 hours to schedule a call where we'll walk through everything together and determine what you'd like made from your blooms.

Make sure to inquire through the form below … no DMs on social media, please!

TWO // let’s chat!

Once we've decided what your collection will include, I'll send an invoice and a contract. A non-refundable retainer reserves your date, in-person pickup services, and your estimated Design Season.

Spots are limited for each wedding date, and booking early is always recommended.

THREE // Bouquet delivery pickup day!

Within three days of your wedding, we'll meet in person, either in Pensacola or Pace. I'll collect your bouquet while your flowers are still at their freshest and most vibrant. This matters tremendously for the quality of the final piece. Most preservation artists work from shipped, dried flowers. Your blooms will be picked up in person, in fresh water, and still in a vase.

FOUR // pressing season begins

This is where patience lives. Every flower is taken apart and preserved and pressed individually using traditional methods developed specifically for Florida's humid climate.

Pressing takes eight to twelve weeks depending on the flowers and time of year.

As a natural preservation studio, color correction is never added to this process. Your flowers are a piece of nature, and over time they will fade to the most beautiful, softer hues.

FIVE // design season

Once your flowers are fully pressed and dry, we’ll chat again and determine your Design Season. When your Design Season arrives, I'll create your Bloom Collection with your pieces, letting the petals lead the way. I’ll be guided by the flowers, your chosen design styles, and your personality.

You'll see the design before it's finalized, and if you want changes, we can make them. As much as I love designing with petals, you loving them more is what matters most.

six // delivery

When everything is complete, we'll meet in person for delivery, or if you have moved since your wedding day (or if you were in the Pensacola area for a Destination Wedding!) your pieces will be shipped to your home with extreme care.

From your wedding day to the moment your collection is in your hands, the full process generally takes six to eight months.

creating your bloom collection //

a wide variety of items can be created with your flowers

Kristin has spent years refining and learning her style of art, and due to this, you don’t have to settle on simply one style of what can be preserve with your flowers.

Most brides create a primary heirloom piece for themselves first: a large frame, a resin block, or a tray. And then, add smaller pieces to gift to the people who stood beside them.

A mini frame for mom.
Bookmarks for your bridesmaids.
A necklace to wear on your anniversary.

Your Bloom Collection may include a Hand-Reconstructed Botanical Art Frame, Preserved Resin Block, an Heirloom Tray, Ceramic Ring Dishes, Pressed Flower Jewelry, Coaster Sets, Ornaments, Vintage Glass Keepsake Dishes, Trinket Trays, and more.

Pricing varies based on what you'd like created. The best way to understand what's possible for your budget is to simply start the conversation.

“I love how much you were open to showing options and changes. It helped me not feel stuck with one design and I actually felt like I wasn’t inconveniencing you to have multiple options and changes. You genuinely seemed happy to make exactly what we wanted.”

a note on natural flower preservation

Color correction is never added to any blooms preserved at Grace and Serendipity. Your flowers will preserve in their most natural state, and over time. Slowly and beautifully, they will fade to quieter, more timeworn versions of themselves.

This is not a flaw. This is the nature of nature.

A pressed flower piece from Grace and Serendipity will look different in ten years than it does today, and in the most beautiful way possible.

If you're looking for colors that stay vivid and unchanged forever, there are other preservation artists that may be a better fit. If you love the idea of something that ages with you — that softens and deepens over time the way the best memories do, you're in the right place.
