if you want the short and sweet version …

Grace and Serendipity is a botanical art and preservation studio based in Pace, Florida, serving brides and families throughout the Pensacola area and beyond.

I offer wedding bouquet preservation, memorial flower preservation, pressed flower art, resin keepsakes, botanical jewelry, and giftable pieces, available through commissioned works and available in small-batches, locally available at Alyssa's in Pace.

Every preservation piece is created entirely by hand, in my home studio, with a process I've developed and refined since 2022. I take a limited number of preservation clients each season to ensure every piece receives the time and care it deserves, and no two designs are ever alike.

if you want to get a little more personal …

In May of 2020,
my mom mailed me a packet of Sunflower seeds.

While other people were baking bread,
I planted a garden.

That summer, a sunflower that was planted from a simple seed grew over nine feet tall … and something within me grew with it, too.

Three years after those seeds went into the ground, I made my first pressed flower piece to sell.
Four years after, I pressed my first wedding bouquet.

The technique I use today, pressing petal by petal and flower by flower, was developed entirely through practice, patience, and years of trial and error working with thousands of petals in one of the most challenging climates in the country for pressed flower work.

Pressing flowers in Florida is not the same as pressing flowers anywhere else. The humidity alone has humbled me more times than I can count, but what I know now, is that learning this historic art one petal at a time is a true and absolute gift to get to share today.

Getting to design once in a lifetime pieces for people in the Pensacola area is more beautiful of a blessing than anything I could have imagined.

I don't take a single petal for granted, and would be honored to preserve yours.
