I am so excited to share details from Ashley and Brett's wedding day with you today! Their wedding was one of those "perfect day out of a fairytale" kinds of wedding days. The two of them are so kind, caring, and truly genuine people that it was an absolute pleasure and joy working with them to plan their wedding day. The moment that we started chatting at our initial meeting, I knew that their wedding day would be one filled with character but also with love ... because these two have *that* special kind of love - the kind that fills a room, the kind that makes you melt when you see the two of them together. Their wedding day took place at the Pensacola Country Club, and they were joined by 100 of their closest friends and family.
I am so excited to be sharing this styled shoot with you today! I am so blessed to have amazing vendors who understand my creative mind, and I love so many different pieces about this shoot that my heart soared when it was featured on Style Me Pretty. So many different things come together for a styled shoot - usually you have one element that spurs it, and as your idea develops, it grows and changes and adapts. For me, this one item was a rose gold sequin table runner. One of my brides used a rose gold sequin linen for her wedding in March, and the minute that I saw it and felt it in my hands, I was hooked.
Sometimes, you have an idea in your head and something you want to portray, but you know that you can't do it alone. This goes hand in hand with weddings as well! So, I teamed up with Ashley from Ashley Victoria Photography and Shannon from Fiore, and together, the three of us turned an idea into SO much more than that! I am so excited to share this styled shoot with you today - it is filled with gorgeous lace details, oysters as placecards, and even a cockatoo as a ring bearer, and we all feel that it turned out so beautiful because we worked great together as a team and the end result turned into an amazing shoot that I hope inspires you to think outside of the box for your own wedding! Enjoy this little piece of happiness that is The Lacy Oyster!
Oh my goodness y'all. This wedding. Was so gorgeous. So beautiful. Simply an amazing day. And to top it off, we could not have asked for better weather at the Pensacola Country Club. My lovely bride and groom, Ashley and Brett, are seriously two of the sweetest and kindest people I have gotten to work with. When we met back in January, the minute that we started chatting about their wedding, I knew that they would be a fun pair of people to work with. On their wedding day, they were just so happy to be getting married - which made everyone else around them happy as could be as well! The dance floor was packed, laughter and smiles were everywhere, and even the venue coordinator couldn't believe how much good, plain FUN everyone was having! The amazing Aislinn Kate Photography was their photographer, and I am so excited to be able to share some of their wedding images with you already! So for now, enjoy this little sneak peek (I had such a hard time choosing only a few to share!), and stay tuned for their full wedding post in the weeks ahead!
I am so excited with the way that all of these elements came together for Amanda and Nick's wedding on March 22, 2014. We planned their wedding for 364 days - we met for the first time literally one day less than a year, so we got to know each other pretty well in that time. I worked with the bride Amanda and her mom Sheri and we had such a great time together. Nick, the groom, was deployed for part of our planning time and then was relocated to the Northeast, so I was so excited when I finally got to meet him at rehearsal the night before the wedding. Amanda wanted to have a country vintage shabby chic theme - combining so many different pieces, from vintage birdcages and burlap, to lace, pinks, and ivories, with navy as an accent. Overall - I love the way it all turned out.
Oh my goodness. I am SO excited to finally be able to share this wedding with you all. Ashley and Justin and I worked together for about eight months on their wedding, and it was definitely a good time had by all. They are such a happy and easy-going couple, and let me have a lot of creative control to just make it look elegant with a touch of gothic-ness blended in. It was one of the most naturally beautiful settings I have had to work with, as we were surrounded by grassy fields, beautiful horses, and just overall peace.
I adored this wedding that I got to be a part of this fall. Sarah and Dan are such a sweet couple, and so fun to work with! Ashley did a fantastic job of capturing so many pretty details. There were so many beautiful floral elements - from rosemary at each place setting, to beautiful centerpieces and even a garland that was draped up the stairs. Their florist Fiore did an amazing job!!
