I am so excited with the way that all of these elements came together for Amanda and Nick's wedding on March 22, 2014. We planned their wedding for 364 days - we met for the first time literally one day less than a year, so we got to know each other pretty well in that time. I worked with the bride Amanda and her mom Sheri and we had such a great time together. Nick, the groom, was deployed for part of our planning time and then was relocated to the Northeast, so I was so excited when I finally got to meet him at rehearsal the night before the wedding. Amanda wanted to have a country vintage shabby chic theme - combining so many different pieces, from vintage birdcages and burlap, to lace, pinks, and ivories, with navy as an accent. Overall - I love the way it all turned out.
I have to admit it. I am a complete sucker for The Bachelor. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself part of "The Bachelor Nation", but every year, I try to tell myself that I don't need to watch the show, (much voiced by my husband, who is definitely not a fan), but then, every year I get totally tangled back up into the unrealistic beautiful fairytale that is The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. (and I think that Sean and Catherine may be my favorite couple from that show yet.)
I adored this wedding that I got to be a part of this fall. Sarah and Dan are such a sweet couple, and so fun to work with! Ashley did a fantastic job of capturing so many pretty details. There were so many beautiful floral elements - from rosemary at each place setting, to beautiful centerpieces and even a garland that was draped up the stairs. Their florist Fiore did an amazing job!!
