In the Press: Bridal Theory! Queen of Hearts Inspiration

In the Press: Bridal Theory! Queen of Hearts Inspiration

Isn't this bouquet just simply breathtaking?!  A few months ago, my friend Micah of Micah Nelson Photography contacted me to create an invitation suite for a creative styled shoot that she was planning on doing, which was a Queen of Hearts inspirational shoot.

I am in love with the colors that she used - dusty blues, deep reds, with splashes of reds and golds made it such a beautiful and different combination!  The gold beaded dress that is featured is absolutely stunning as well. From the unique furniture to the creative elements that were brought in to create the unique look, this is one that you definitely should take a look at today!

Engaged? What to Do First { Wedding Tips from a Pensacola Wedding Planner }

First off, if you are engaged, congratulations!!  When you get engaged, there are so many thoughts that may run through your head - how do you decide what to do first?  Do you go and buy every bridal magazine you can find?  Do you start scouring Pinterest (or add more to the Pinterest board that you've been pinning to for a while now??)  Where do you start?  I have put together a small list together of 10 things that I think will deinitely help you get started on the right track to planning.  And if you don't want to start planning right away, that is perfectly okay as well!  Bask in the enjoyment of your new engagement, and when you're ready, that's when the time is to start planning your wedding. Getting engaged is a time in your life to enjoy.  Please don't feel that anything written below needs to be done immediately.

In the Press: Cosmopolitan Bride Australia Magazine!

I am so excited to share this with you today!  Back in the early spring, I was contacted by Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine that is based in Australia.  They were doing a piece on either choosing to have social media included in your day, or if you would choose to have an unplugged wedding instead.  In my Etsy shop, I have quite a few wedding signs, but with as many as there are available, I felt incredibly excited when I had the opportunity to be published overseas.

Why I Don't Want You to Have a Pinterest Wedding

Why I Don't Want You to Have a Pinterest Wedding

Pinterest. There is a pretty good chance that by now you have probably heard of it.  A few years ago, when it first came to be, I swooned and completely fell in love with it.  Pinning, pinning, and more pinning took place multiple times of the day for me.  I personally love to use it, and if you follow me, you know this as hardly a day goes by where I don't pin something either new or re-pin something from someone else.
