I am so excited to be sharing this styled shoot with you today! I am so blessed to have amazing vendors who understand my creative mind, and I love so many different pieces about this shoot that my heart soared when it was featured on Style Me Pretty. So many different things come together for a styled shoot - usually you have one element that spurs it, and as your idea develops, it grows and changes and adapts. For me, this one item was a rose gold sequin table runner. One of my brides used a rose gold sequin linen for her wedding in March, and the minute that I saw it and felt it in my hands, I was hooked.
A few months ago, I was contacted by Valerie of Fleur de Lis Event Planning to do a styled shoot with her and provide all of the paper goods. I designed all of the signs, created a pennant banner, and hand-lettered a cootie catcher, where it said "Will You Marry Me"? along with a few other details! It was featured today on FabYouBliss, which is kind of perfect considering that it was the first day of school for those of us here! Below are a few of my favorite images captured by The Veil Wedding Photography!
For a fun and fabulous insiprational wedding blog post today, I knew that I just had to post about this simple Southern beauty of fabric - seersucker. It is actually National Seersucker Day today too! (isn't it fantastic that it has it's own holiday??)
I love this fabric and think that it is such a fun texture element to add into your wedding. And, if you are looking for a way to add a little bit more prep into your wedding day, this may be just your answer!
Here in Pensacola, it doesn't snow. Ever. However, today we are home, and as I look out my office window, I can see sleet, which eventually is supposed to turn into snow (whhaaaatt??!). To say that I am excited, as a Minnesota girl, is a major understatement. My husband has never seen it, so I think he's pretty excited as well, since his work kept him home as well. My stepson keeps peeking out of the windows as well...so I think this house is filled with excitement
